Engineered for performance and built to withstand harsh conditions, the RSS Rugged Antenna is designed in the classic Australian off-road style for serious adventurers and professionals who demand reliable communication. Featuring a heavy-duty 8mm spring base, this antenna provides exceptional flexibility and impact resistance, making it ideal for rough terrain and demanding environments.

The RSS Rugged Antenna is tuned for South African VHF off-road frequencies and also performs exceptionally on the 464 MHz PMR band, where it delivers an impressive 6.5 dBi gain. On the VHF band, it offers a solid 3.5 dBi gain, ensuring strong, clear signal performance wherever your journey takes you.

With an overall length of 107 cm and a 5 m coaxial cable, the antenna is ready for versatile installation. The connector is supplied but not pre-fitted, allowing the installer to easily route the coaxial cable through tight spaces or small holes before connecting it to the radio. Each antenna is supplied with a bulbar mount, though it can also be fitted to other customised mounting locations to suit your vehicle setup.
